Barbell Dynasty Business Card

I love the lion. It's stylish, regal and strong. All the elements you would want for this logo. However, as an overall logo, I feel the lion overpowers the hierarchy slightly. That is, the proportions are off just a bit. There seems to be a battle for focal point between the elements. Perhaps the use of the barbell is not entirely necessary, it along with the text looks a little too Art Deco and competes with the lion.

I'm not sure if a serif font, especially Garamond Bold, is the best choice here. It seems too off the rack, so to speak. My suggestion would be to find a strong sans serif and tweak it to have a better flow with that wonderful lion.

To me a gym logo should be dynamic, powerful, energetic. It should be like the crack of a whip, kind of like your Akuma logo.

If you're going to use it then I would suggest tightening up the tracking and set the kerning to optical. If you're going to keep the barbell then the spacing between the company name and the secondary text should be better balanced.
