Nam Quoc Cong Than - Blog Identity Circa. 2010

Problem with doing work for friends is you never really know what you get yourself into. I think at the time me and my partner (coder) were being introduced as the incredibly cheap and fast guys. I think I spent 4 hours in the store drafting this for the client. I was really inexperienced working on the fly at the time, the client through lots of ideas at me and it actually took us a full 2 hours to realize, we were designing an activist blog for a Vietnamese Chinese Doctor who wanted to express his thoughts about the Vietnamese government at the time.

This was done a while back and I don't have my notes anymore but the symbolism is really blunt here as requested. Broadcasting waves was used for spreading information. And a flaming dove with an olive branch for passionate deliverance of peace. In the final presentation I threw in the Vietnam background for good measure.

PS. The client was really enthusiastic about this project and I think I even tried to barter some acupuncture sessions for this project.
